Greco-Hampson took up a strong club in the early 2000’s, continued to star on various world-class teams, and are currently making their way into the Nickell team lineup. They originally started with Standard Modern Precision (SMP) with a Multi 2D in certain situations. Eventually they gave up the Multi 2D and switched to 1C-1H denying 5+S and 1C-1S as natural 8+ HCP in the 2010’s.
This book is an excellent description of a pro implementation of SMP that you can use to draw inspiration from for a strong club or any 5-card major system.
